Research Team Leader

This position offers the successful candidate a leading-edge position where you will be a key member of a highly skilled Research Team. You will be responsible for driving development of new technologies to trace malicious software and applications, while ensuring the anti-spyware applications deliver an industry leading level of detection.
Key Responsibilities
- define what is required to deliver on the goals, this will include identifying supporting tools, processes and resource changes as necessary
- to ensure that the Research Team achieve the goals
- organise work distribution amongst the Research Team members, incl. schedule of on-call duty
- provide input to Development with product functional improvements and recommendations
- ensure that Researches needs are clearly identified and communicated to the organisation
Experience and Skills
We expect you to be a natural multi-tasker with the communication skills that are necessary to work closely with members of other departments.
As part of your ongoing internal education and our ongoing commitment to security research, you will be expected to travel to international conferences when the need arises, and interact with various security companies and anti-spyware communities.
Essential
- Genuine interest and professional experience in internet security
- Excellent knowledge of Windows, especially registry, CLSID's, file locations
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
