If someone had told Erin, who is originally from the United States, five years ago that she would spend her early twenties living and working in Scandinavia, she probably wouldn't have believed it. But a chance meeting with another foreigner while studying a semester abroad in England led to finding love, and later, to moving across the pond to pursue it. While it may not have fit her original expectations, she enjoyed her time working for Lavasoft in Gothenburg, Sweden, just as much as she likes her new role as a consultant based in New Jersey, USA.

"During a college internship, someone gave me career advice that has stuck with me: never allow yourself to become stagnant at your job. I don't think that's possible working for a company like Lavasoft that is always focused on growth and improvement.

I miss being surrounded by the energetic people in the Gothenburg office on a daily basis, but I'm grateful that the open minded attitude of this company has allowed me to continue to work with the Lavasoft team, even after I made the decision to relocate to the States. Lavasoft is truly a diverse, international company that brings together people from all different backgrounds to make a difference in the security industry."
